The Maryville Public Library is hosting their Turkey Time Toddler Story Time this Thursday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Youth services Coordinator, Elizabeth Argo, says all of their Toddler Story Times are based on the Every Child Ready To Read research which is a research based model for improving early literacy.
"So before they start pre-school or kindergarten, and while they are in pre-school, some of them can be working on these early literacy skills through - just breaks down very easily for parents. Something that doesn't take a lot of time. I give examples of how they can do that to enrich their children's learning."
To register for the story time, contact the Maryville Public Library. No library card is required.
